In The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, multiple characters experience a deadly fate, but it is not completely unavoidable. People also have control of their own lives and the ability to make decisions, affecting them and others. Shakespeare uses characters in this play to illustrate the theme of fate and to project how easily it can be tampered with. Fate, as a theme in this play, is involved in many of the characters lives. Fate is dependent on a persons actions. Julius Caesar is a character who inflicts death upon himself. Caesar ruled in the triumvirate with two powerful men, and when it came crashing down, Caesar was the only one lucky enough to stay alive. He had been involved in the death of another member, Pompey, whom was loved by the Romans: O you hard hearts, you cruel men of Rome, Knew you not Pompey? (1:1:38-39). Caesar is now taking Pompeys place, and was being celebrated, when he killed the peoples ruler. If Caesar hadnt been so ambitious for power, he wouldnt have gone into battle with Pompey and ultimately taken the throne from him. Then, when he is awarded with the power, he turned down the crown three times to seem humble, He put it by thrice, every time gentler than other; and at every putting by mine honest neighbors shouted (1:2:228-230). Most people still applauded him, but others saw his bluff. If Caesar wouldnt have been as greedy for the power, he would have been alive at the end of the play. The reader sees Caesars d ownfall play out. After killing a respected member of the government and taking over, there is bound to be criticism. The conspirators do not feel as though Caesar is trustworthy as a ruler; he did turn on Pompey. The belief is that Rome will be a much better place if Caesar is not part of it. For example, Metellus Cimber, a conspirator, asks Caesar one last time before he dies, to let his brother come back: Is there no voice more worthy than my own, to sound more sweetly in great Caesars ear For the repealing of my banished brother? (3:1:49-51). Caesar had banished his brother from Rome prior to the setting of the play and Metellus seems to hold a grudge about it throughout the plot. Caesar is put to death in order to prove a point that Rome and its citizens would be better off without a ruler like him. Participating in the murder soon comes back to haunt each conspirator and lead to the formation of their own fates. The conspirators all face the repercussions for their actions. Brutus allowed Antony to speak at Caesars funeral. This was a big mistake. He uses sarcasm to address the conspirators as being honorable throughout his speech. By rallying the citizens up, together with Antony they can riot against each of the conspirators. They even go so far as to kill an innocent man with the same name as Cinna, Cinna the poet. A group of citizens carry Cinna the poet off the stage and one can only imagine what they would do to a real conspirator: Tear him! Tear him! (They attack him) Come, brands, ho! To Brutus, to Cassius! Burn all! Some to Decius house, and some to Cascas; some to Ligarius! (3:3:35-38). The people are finally giving all the senators what they believe is just. Brutus should have listened to Cassius and decided not to let Antony speak because now every Roman citizen wants the conspirators dead, and all eventually face that. Brutus could have saved himself by refusing to join in the first place, they all could have. But all of them participated and must deal with the consequences. Before the battle begins, Brutus tells Cassius, But this same day Must end that work the ides of March begun (5:1:112-113). The conspirators completed their mission on the 15th of March, and then their fates were altered. Caesar made decisions and acted in ways that formed his fate; the Conspirators should have seen their death coming. Life is full of choices, each choice that is made contributes to a persons fate. Caesar killed Pompey and was a selfish ruler, for his short time in power. The conspirators saw the truth in this and decided to act on Caesars bad ruling capabilities. But, by killing Caesar, they too changed their own fates. Any little action made by a person can be remembered and held against them. What someone thinks is unfair or just may not appear that way to everyone. It only takes one small decision to change a persons fate. Unlike Lewis Carrolls book the main characters in the stories i. e. the giants are totally imaginary and use made up words and eat made up foods. Sophie said: What do you drink? Frobscottle, announced the BFG. All giants is drinking frobscottle. They live a totally imaginary existence unlike any human being. Roald Dahl also introduces some real life characters into his book like the Queen and her staff and the Armed Forces. Like Alice, Sophie is given great influence over these people. In Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by J. K. Rowling written in 1997 Harry looks like a normal boy and to a certain extent acts like a normal boy but, unlike Alice and Sophie, is given magical powers. Objects are given magical powers like the broomsticks. Harrys broom jumped into his hand at once, but it was one of the few that did. Mystical creatures such as dragons appear, but none of these take on human characteristics. In the nonsense verse, which was so popular at this time, especially that by Edward Lear, creatures are totally imaginary and bear no resemblance to living creatures. In The Dong With The Luminous Nose the Dong is an imaginary creature living in a totally imaginary place and all the names are made up. Landing at Eve near the Zemmery Fidd Where the oblong oysters grow. This is similar to Through The Looking Glass where Alice enters an imaginary world and also to a certain extent in Harry Potter where Harry goes through the wall at the railway station to find platform 9 3/4 and the Hogwarts Express and many of the other place settings are made up. And an extremely small voice, close to her ear, said, you might make a joke on that- something about horse and hoarse you know. The same can be said of Aesops Fables that are written very clearly and for a younger child, using simple words. Some of the language used by Lewis Carroll is very adult and long words are used that a child may not know the meaning of. In Aesops Fables a child could easily read and understand the text. J. K. Rowling also writes in a way that a child can understand, once again the book is very grammatical and clearly written. In some instances she uses made up words to name items, objects and animals that are imaginary and made up purely for the story. This balls called the Quaffle, said Wood. The chasers throw the Quaffle to each other and try to get it through one of the hoops to score a goal. Roald Dahl writes so a child can easily understand what the story is about. Digging a snow cave can actually save your life.Stay hydrated, but DO NOT eat snow.  (Because your body must heat the ice in order to melt it into water, youd actually lose heat.) This deficiency in turn has a negative impact on servicing customer. All order information is provided to the technician. On the contrary, the Proposed Showtime Sound Lighting System is a system based on relevant technologies. The main aim of this project is to develop software for sound lighting System. The software provides good services and remove the repetitions in order to nurture the needs of the customer by providing various ways tasks. Also to improve time management to handle large volume of business. The traditional manual is being overcome by the information stord in proper databases in the proposed system.Currently, the traditional manual system hold the information on clipboards until it is entered on the computer system but in the proposed system , the data will be stored in the databases for all the functions and activities take place in the organization. There should be more permanent employees which are of full time to increase the productivity.Collect and process customer information and requests. For this a separate customer database should be created with the relevant fields. Cust_id should be the key field. That it stores only unique records, not more than one same record can be stored. A customer provides a request to SSL. Check for the existing customer in customer database and update the information.. If the customer is new, add his information in the database through addnewcustomer() method. Match customer requirements with equipment availability. The details of the equipments should be stored in another database called item .If the equipment is available then (check for the availability from the database) then validate request. In validation, check for the genuine order being placed by the customer. After this check which type of request is being made, i.e the order is for rental, purchase or the operators support is needed. Again this information is also stored in separate database. If all the information is stored in separate database, then there would be no chances of redundancy and smooth functioning of the system. As far relationship is concerned, relation can be with the cust_id. Many customers can place the orders at the time and all the details should be stored in their respective databases. Only one equipment should be provided to one customer. For the availability of the equipments, check the database and update the database side by side. Match the requirement with the employee availability and also with the time required. Update the database of the employee for the same to validate the request. The customers order information is collected, specifically listing the customers needs. Order should be generated and the details should be stored in order database along with its type and the shipping details of the customer To increase the productivity and goodwill , the company should appoint more and more full time skilled employees. In this way they can provide good services to the customers.
